As the year draws to a close, we look back with immense gratitude on the memories made and the new friends we welcomed through our doors. This year has truly enlarged the heart of Glenn Meadow: a peaceful retreat built on hospitality and warmth. Thank you for whatever part you played or will play in our success.
Key Achievements and Growth
This year marked continued growth in our guests sharing our home and beautiful 115-acre landscape. We were thrilled by the growing demand, a sign that the safe, comfortable space we dreamed of creating continues to resonate. Our dedication to a true farm-to-table experience flourished, with farm-fresh breakfasts and our daily happy hour being consistent guest favorites.
Keeping the property in ‘guest condition’ is important to us! This past year we had our barn painted. (If I can get Mark to get rid of some of the treasures inside the barn it would be a momentous achievement!) We re-conditioned the long driveway with additional crushed concrete and most importantly, we had 31 solar panels installed. This past summer, while Saugautuck struggled with a major power outage, we were at full operation.
We also saw great success in tailoring stays for all types of guests—from quick romantic getaways to welcoming large groups and even hosting long-term guests who made GMBB their home for months.
- This year, we proudly hosted more than 600 guests from 8 different states, and 3 different countries, and celebrated a 200% increase in repeat bookings, showing you all truly feel at home.
- Our coffee and game room was the setting for more than 250 family game nights, and our new outdoor fire pit saw 70 cozy marshmallow roasts under the stars.
- We harvested more than 30 bushels (at least) of garden vegetables and served nearly 2000 farm-fresh eggs in our breakfasts this season, ensuring a truly local start to your day.

Our guest feedback has been the greatest gift! Whether you came for the tranquility of a quiet retreat or to explore the nearby charm of South Haven and Saugatuck, your comments reinforce our core mission. As we often say, “It is our privilege to get to know each person who graces our doorway, and this year, every one of you became a new friend.”
We noticed a wonderful trend: our welcoming policy for both kids and pets led to 15 families booking multi-room gatherings, turning GMBB into a hub for reunions. Hearing comments like, ‘The safest, most relaxing place we’ve ever stayed’ truly touched our hearts.

A Look Ahead to Next Year
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce tangible improvements for our guests! Next year, we plan to clear and mark a dedicated 2-mile walking trail across our 115 acres, giving you even more space to enjoy contemplative strolls through the woods and fields right outside the door.
We’re also considering a luxurious new ‘South Haven Sunset’ package, featuring local wine and treats, while continuing to perfect beloved favorites like our flowers and charcuterie add-ons. Our ultimate goal remains simple: To be your favorite peaceful haven between the fun of the Lake Michigan coast.
